Hey Blog-o-Philes,
Lynz here. I finally make some decisions about my life. Here's what I've got....
I've decided to give college another shot. I did get the RA job (in the apartments) which means I won't have to pay rent (Woohoo!) and I also received a $1,000 scholarship ($500 a semester) which will cover books. I'm taking out a $1,750 loan per semester to pay for my actual tuition. Also, being an RA I have to put in 6 hours of unpaid desk time a week, but more time above that is paid for & it's $8.00 an hour (more then I make at DQ after 5 years.) We had our Welcoming Dinner in Omaha last night, and it was a pretty nice mix of people. I sat by a couple Music Majors who were um.... well they are music majors 'nuff said. lol. I think it's gonna be a fun year.
I also re-booked my flight to Jersey (which was cancelled when Delta decided they didn't want to fly to Atlantic City). Now I'm going July 15th-July30th. I'm so excited to see Mike and Kitty! We have soooooo much planned already! Two weeks of NYC, Philly, but most of all just soaking up the rays at the Jersey Shore!!!!!!! Woot!!!!
I start my summer classes June 2nd; Public Speaking & Developmental Psychology.
Happy had her bridal shower on Sunday. It was a blast! The wedding is on June 14th. Can't wait, we are going to have one hella good time!
Whitney is getting married in May up at the court house and they are just going to have the ceremony on Sept. 20th. She's due July 5th.
So yeah, it's shaping up to be one busy summer! I move into the apartments August 4th already and we start training August 5th.
I hope everyone is doing well!
Oh btw, I'm thinking of changing my major from Literature to Education. I'm giving some serious thought to becoming an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher. There is a huge demand and lots of opportunities to travel!!!
Much Love!

That is an interesting Major! DO you have much foreighn language? That is good that there is a desire for it though.
That's the beauty of it! You don't have to know a foreign language! You might be teaching a class to 20 different adults that speak 6 different languages.
